As it was Shrove Tuesday we decided it would be fun to set the students a challenge : send us a fun picture of you on pancake day and we got some fantastic entries in.

Summit’s article gave a snapshot of how everyone has really come together over these last few months and shown just how strong of a unit we are. Staff have gone above and beyond and the students themselves have coped extremely well in the circumstances.

Read MoreSummit are very excited to announce that we are now a recognised ‘Mencap Gateway Award Centre’ which will provide numerous opportunities for staff and students. The award will allow for different areas to be developed such as hobbies, fitness, volunteering, lifestyle choices and a Gateway Challenge which can be personal or within a group setting.
We are always looking for new experiences and ways to enrich learning in real-life scenarios. Encouraging participation in new activities and building on transferable skills will be invaluable moving forwards and developing independence.
