What kind of difficulties/ Students does summit work with?

Summit works with a range of learning difficulties including Autism, developmental delays, generalised learning disabilities, ADHD and Downs Syndrome.

Summit also supports individuals with anxiety, confidence building and life skills.

How much does it cost to work with Summit?

Each individual is assessed in the initial steps and payment is discussed.

How can Summit support be accessed?

Following an initial enquiry the Summit Journey will follow the steps as shown on the ‘Summit Journey’ page.

What kind of support will summit provide?

Difficulties will be assessed in the initial consultation and from that discussions will be had as to what goals would like to be achieved and specific areas to be targeted. This will be constantly reviewed.

Is it only 1:1 sessions?

Summit also runs group sessions on a weekly basis for Students. These include social groups and a fitness group.

What age range does summit work with?

Currently our youngest Students range from 8 years old up to 52

Are there any group trips organised?

Group trips run during school holidays and half terms. Some example activities are: swimming, indoor skydiving, cinema, bowling, the zoo, quasar.

During term time some ad-hoc group trips can be organised with Instructors to encourage social opportunities.

Will Summit support within a school setting?

Unfortunately we do not support individuals within a school setting

IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW LONG SUMMIT CAN PROVIDE SUPPORT?

There is not a limit to how long Summit can provide support, however the focus is on each Student becoming as independent as possible. Input will be constantly reviewed with all involved to achieve maximum results and independence.

Summit will always leave the door open for Students who have moved on or felt they could reduce/stop sessions in case further work is needed or communication helpful.

The Summit team are focussed on each individual and will provide support wherever they can.
